Nigeria plans to support 60,000 farmers with subsidised inputs to enhance food production and reduce post-harvest losses, in a bid to achieve food security and local agricultural value addition.
Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State, Nigeria, has ordered the immediate cultivation of 900 hectares of farmland in 3 Local Government Areas to address the food crisis.
